THE ZOMBA LOUNGE

The Zomba Cafe started out as a fine dining establishment in 1941. By 1949, the widowed Nell Shannon had turned the place into a strip club. It was the first of its kind in the Valley and the first club owned by a woman.

The Zomba Lounge, in the upstairs of The Write-off Room is where Mrs. Shannon used to live. With its own restrooms, bar and sound system, the lounge can be used as a separate venue, or as a place to watch the main stage shows on big screen TVs.
